You will be able to get the Mach-E with either a standard range (SR) battery rated at 75.7 kilowatt-hours (kWh) or an extended range (ER) battery rated at 98.8 kilowatt-hours, depending on which Mach-E sub-model you choose.   
 
You'll also be able to get the Mustang Mach-E in either a Rear-Wheel Drive (RWD) or an All-Wheel Drive (AWD) powertrain configuration, again depending on which Mach-E trim you choose.  

Ford Aims to Give the 2021 Mustang Mach-E Great Driving Range

Ford's target ranges are:    

  • Standard Range Battery RWD - 230 miles    
  • Standard Range Battery AWD - 210 miles    
  • Extended Range Battery RWD - 300 miles    
  • Extended Range Battery AWD - 270 miles   
Depending on whether you get an RWD or AWD version, you'll either have one electric motor mounted on the rear axle or two electric motors mounted on either axle-one on the front axle and one on the rear.
